Dr. Chaoqun Liu received both a BS (1968) and MS (1981) from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, and a PhD (1989) fromthe University of Colorado at Denver, USA. He is currently the Tenured and Distinguished Professor and the Director of the Center for Numerical Simulation and Modeling at the University of Texas at Arlington, Arlington, Texas, USA. He has worked on high-order direct numerical simulation(DNS) and large eddy simulation(LES)for flow transition and turbulence for 33 years since 1990. As PI, he has been awarded by NSF, NASA, US Air Force, and US Navy with 51 federal research grants of over5.95×106USdollarsin theUnitedStates.He has published 16 professional books, 144 journal papers, and 170 conference papers and book chapters. I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Automation at Tsinghua University, where I currently serve as Deputy Director of the Institute of Systems Engineering. Prior to the current position, I was a Postdoctoral Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 2016 to 2020. I received a B.Eng. in Automation from Zhejiang University in 2010 and a Ph.D. in control science and engineering from Tsinghua University in 2015. Mohamad Khairi Ishak received a B. Eng degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), Malaysia, an MSc. in Embedded Systems from the University of Essex, United Kingdom, and a Ph.D. from the University of Bristol, United Kingdom. He is a member of IEEE and a registered graduate engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM). He is an Associate Professor, Lecturer in Computer Engineering at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Ajman University, United Arab Emirates. His research interests encompass a wide spectrum of cutting-edge topics, including embedded systems, real-time control communications, Artificial Intelligence, and the Internet of Things (IoT). His research focuses on developing both theoretical frameworks and practical methodologies, with a strong emphasis on real-world applicability.

Dr. Mostafa EsmaeiliShayan received the Ph.D. and M.Sc. degrees (with honors) in renewable energy engineering from Tarbiat Modares University, Iran, in 2022 and 2017, respectively. Subsequently, he was appointed as the Director of the Engineering Division, Saba Power and Energy Group, the largest private electric power company in Iran, where he served for two years. In 2023, he was granted a full postdoctoral scholarship in power electronics and renewable energy research with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Universiti Malaya (UM). Since early 2024, he has been engaged as a postdoctoral researcher with the Department of Mechanical, Chemical, and Materials Engineering, Università degli Studi di Cagliari (UniCa), Italy, where he focuses on optimizing energy systems for the provision of electricity, heating, and cooling in European and African nations. He contributes as an editor to several specialized scientific journals and has authored numerous publications that contribute significantly to both national and international discourse. His research interests include renewable energy, energy systems, thermal energy, power systems, energy storage, microgrids, and optimization.

Dr Jinlong Ma is a Professor at Tianjin University, China, and Vice President of APEC Sustainable Energy Center (APSEC). Prof Jinlong Ma’s experience include energy system planning, renewables, power sector development, energy management and energy efficiency, electricity market and rural electrification. One of the main research themes currently at APSEC is energy transition solutions in APEC member economies. With hands-on experience in many Asia and Pacific countries’ energy sectors, Jinlong previously held senior managerial and technical positions at international technical advisory firms, global energy corporation, and research institutions. Jinlong’s qualifications include PhD, energy economics from Melbourne University; M. Eng., energy policy and planning from Asian Institute of Technology; and B.Eng (Electric) from North China University of Electric Power. He is a member of Institute of Electric and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), International Association of Energy Economics (IAEE), and fellow of Australian Institute of Energy (AIE).

Dr. Jinxing Che is a distinguished professor at Nanchang Institute of Technology and Director of Key Laboratory of Engineering Mathematics and Advanced Computing of Nanchang Institute of Technology, with research concentration on prediction theory and renewable energy management. He received his Ph.D. from Xidian University in 2019 specializing in probability theory and mathematical statistics and his Master's Degree from Lanzhou University in 2010 specializing in applied mathematics. Since July 2010, Dr. Che has been engaged in teaching and research work at Nanchang Institute of Technology. During this period, he worked as an algorithm researcher and senior data analyst at Nanjing Huasu Technology Co., Ltd. and New Oriental Group, providing artificial intelligence solutions for intelligent monitoring, diagnosis, and prediction of communication, energy and power equipment, and operation management. Dr. Che co authored over 60 papers and authored 2 books. He has been listed as one of the top 2% scientists in the world by Stanford University.

Alireza Ghasempour has been a faculty member in the Information and Communications Technology department at the University of Applied Science and Technology. His areas of interest include smart grids, the Internet of Things, machine learning and deep learning techniques, optimization methods, smart cities, and wireless communications and networks. He has published several papers in these areas in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences.

He was a Postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering, Seoul National University (SNU), Seoul, South Korea (October 2022 -October 2023). He is an Assistant Professor (Lecturer) at the Department of Marine Engineering, Vietnam Maritime University, Haiphong City, Vietnam. He is an Honorary Professor at the School of Computing Science and Engineering, Galgotias University, India, and an Honorary Adjunct Professor at the School of Computer Science and Engineering, a Lovely Professional University (LPU), India. Additionally, he is an Adjunct Faculty at SIMATS Engineering, Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences, Tamilnadu, India. He received a B.Eng and M.Sc at Vietnam Maritime University, Vietnam in 2011 and 2014, respectively. He got a Ph.D. Degree at Wuhan University of Technology, Wuhan, China in 2018. Haris M. Khalid (SMIEEE, FHEA) receivedthe B.Sc. Adekunlé Akim SALAMI, Full Professor Full Professor in 2021, SALAMI Adekunlé Akim is lecturer-researcher at the Electrical Engineering Department of the Polytechnic School of Lomé and at CERME-UL. He is an electrical engineer and holds a doctorate in electrical engineering science whose theme is “Wind modeling based on imperfect data analysis methods: Study and development of a decision-making tool for the characterization of wind potential, the prediction of wind speeds and the optimization of the sizing of wind turbines in Togo” in 2008. Dr. Mazabalo BANETO is Physicist and Associate Professor at the University of Lomé (Togo). He isDeputyDirector of Centre d’Excellence Régional pour la Maîtrise de l’Electricité (CERME).
